Images programs are designed to assist our residents individually in analyzing their respective sense and personal view of who the really are, not who they have become. We incorporate activities and new thinking that supports individualized in-depth investigation of self-image.
As you would imagine this process generates a very personal strategy of contemplation that leads to brutal honesty, frustration, and motivation. This program is often selected by residents to act as their personal treatment model to resolve problems relating to drug and alcohol addiction, abuse, and current life circumstances.
Images has a foundation embedded in cognitive behavioral re-alignment and renewal (CBR&R) a practical off shoot of cognitive behavioral therapy and is supported by elements of mindfulness. We define cognitions as “the mental process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experiences, and the senses”. We have designed the Seven Ponds experience to do just that with individualized daily routines and activities based on the residents’ strength’s, needs, abilities and preferences (SNAP).
