Drug Rehab

Seven Ponds presents a different model to the addiction and recovery field. To understand why we have been so successful facilitating a more dynamic approach for those who suffer from chemical dependency, let’s look at the core framework and beliefs that allow our residents to change and grow into “who they really are “by gaining a strong sense of ownership in their path to self-actualization and renewal.

First let’s establish that Chemical Dependency is a primary disease, not a result of another disease, and needs to be integrated with personalized critical services. Initially residents enroll in the Seven Ponds program to enjoy safe, well designed lodging in a retreat like setting, with daily routines and activities to support their pre-treatment journey and find assistance with appropriate referrals for intervention, detoxification, medical services, dental services, counselors, therapists, legal assistance and aftercare. We are a community not a rehabilitation center, but a treatment facilitator allowing residents to make choices about the specialists they will need as they resolve their respective life circumstances surrounding chemical dependency.

Our residents have a need to feel empowered, feel special and unique

None of these services are provided on campus, but rather off campus in the offices of private practitioners. We provide lots of choices for residents based on their strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences’, schedule appointments, provide transportation and support, all the while understanding that “one size does not fit all”.

We never exceed a census of ten residents and in any given day we could be transporting ten residents to ten different specialists. Our residents have a need to feel empowered, feel special and unique, to have access to “specialists” because they ARE special. To be part of their life changing experience by making, understanding and being responsible with following through on their own choices.
